Network in and around Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth?
Did you know 70% of Uk business was done via networking? That’s face to face networking. While digital media can enhance and compliment our businesses, 85% of people say they build stronger more meaningful relationships through meetings made in person.
Anybody who knows me and my business knows that I’m a huge advocate of networking for business (for a myriad of reasons). I sit on the judging panel for the recent Business Networking Awards for Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield and Tamworth. Now in its 3rd year it’s popularity and yield is gathering pace. With 100 attendees in it’s 1st year and now up to 200, more categories, more sponsorship opportunity, better press coverage, there’s now more opportunity for those who wish to be involved. So, how do you get included for next years awards?
All you and your business need to do is NETWORK, in and around the 3 areas mentioned. Keep your ear to the ground around September for nomination time and ask one of your fellow networkers who have used your services or your customers to nominate you for one of the coveted awards. Simple. Alternatively, you may wish to sponsor an award or table or maybe you have an interesting product or service suitable for use at large events…
Whatever your involvement if you live, work or run a business in Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield or Tamworth this event inaugurated by Tamworth business owner and networker Dave Harper, this event is excellent for building relationships, our local economies, sharing business best practices, not to mention a great night out come March 2016!
Get involved; start by networking in your 3 local areas. Here are two that I chair and run in Tamworth and Sutton Coldfield respectively or get in touch and I’m sure I can point you in the right direction of a networking group to suit you.
Clare Whalley celebrated 10 years in business in 2017. A great milestone to achieve. She graduated with an International degree in English and Education and went into corporate life to pursue a career outside of teaching. Successfully passing a rigorous graduate scheme into a blue chip company; working in several positions across team management, customer service and sales roles. A working trip to India helped her decide to resign, retrain and set up her own coaching and training business.
Clare now lives in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham with her two young children, Isabelle and James and her husband Rob.
Clare works with fellow business owners to help them create a business they love too. She uses strategies and tools which will help business owners get to the clients they love to work with, with more consistency and ease.
